Hello: Nice blog.
I give a different spice mixture in my book The Scent of Orange Blossoms: Sephardic Cuisine from Morocco. I have never heard of mangos in harosset, but Morocco is starting to export the fruit, so who knows. There is also an aged butter called "smen" in Morocco.

You might be interested in the harosset recipe I give in my latest book, a Biblical Feast: Ancient Mediterranean Flavors for Today's Table, based on the 84 food stuffs mentioned in Scriptures.

Thanks for the taste!

Hi Kitty,
Thanks so much for you comments. I enjoyed your blog as well. How did you find me?

Can we have some desert food?
